and you flew with it on your back

"Bide the Wiccan Law ye must,
In perfect love and perfect trust.
Eight words the Wiccan Rede fulfill:
And ye harm none, do what ye will.
What ye send forth comes back to thee
so ever mind the law of three.
Follow this with mind and heart,
Merry ye meet, and merry ye part."
The one law that we are to follow, but it's an extremely important one. To cause no harm doesn't mean only physical pain but any hurt or pain in the slightest. To show…

Hi all,
What a great site (already made so many new and interesting friends). I'm sitting here on a cold, gray, and rainy Pittsburgh day thinking about the long strange trip that led to my eventual foray into cyber (and real-time) neopaganism.... The survey that we take when joining this site is a bit strange, so this blog entry is my feeble attempt to provide a suitable (hopefully not boring) introduction(!)
I was raised a country boy (lots of chickens around, along with…

Hecate
"I am Hecate, Goddess of ancient Greece, guardian of the unconscious, mistress of the night, the dark side of the triple moon Goddess. I am Hecate, Queen of all witches, sorceress, seductress, phychic, crone, hag. I ride through the night sky, bathing the landscape in supernatural light. I am Hecate, I command earth, sea, and sky. I control your menstrual cycles; I am the ultimate feminine." During medieval Times, pagans were being tortured based on their belief in the Goddess…

Spiral Lord
He Who Creates from His Heart
The God of the underworld embodies life, poised at the moment of beginning. Even in the dark of night we have the promise that a new day will dawn. And also in the darkness the earth in the rich black soil, encased in a hard dark seed coat, seeming lifeless, exists all the energy of new life. The fallow period of our natural seasons assured the ancients that the cycles of our lives also continue on.
The Underworld God…

A psychologist friend recently told me that all prayer is self talk. He is an athiest. He says that no matter if you pray silently like most Christian religions or chanting out loud like many non-christians... it is still just self talk. If you want something bad enough you will talk yourself into figuring out a way to get it. When we get the "idea" of how to get what we want... it is then considered an answer from our God or Goddess. In his opinion when we ask a question, we already know the…

Often I will hear of an atrocity that one human has done to another... or to a child or animal. When I hear of these things my first response has always been "I don't get it" or "I don't understand how someone could do that". Someone told me once... "Be thankful you don't get it, or don't understand it. If you did... you would be just like them!"
I thank Goddess... I don't get it!

Enlightened about chakras great, now its time to regress.
Take a moment to reflect on the day's experience good or bad, or both , and envision a miscellaneous trash can.
ball all your concerns up like a piece of paper, and throw it, drop it, or dunk it in to that trash.
now all you will be able to see is black.
Now as big and bold as day in bright white cartoon numbers, count from 100 to 1.
OUT LOUD please...
I want you to
see and say these numbers take your…

My god dwells within a black and darkened soul. My god demands my predation of the weak and unbelievers of the multidimensional realities of the god within.I seek the pleasure and wealth due to those of us who are willing to sacrifice the blood of unbelievers who dare mock us and commit acts of abomination against our faith. Grunge fucking is as much ritualized majick as any spell or incantation dared to be! My circles are drawn in blood, and what is left is blessed and consumed to consummate…

Sometimes I wish I could make or have help creating a community where all pagans would not have to worry about something they need being closed on a christian or other holiday. Then again that would be too perfect and costly wouldn't it?

Ok i have been battling off depression for the past couple years. I keep it to myself, cuase its a bit of a downer to other people. Now i know with my faith, things such prayer to the gods will give me piece of mind. But peace of mind doesnt help if things havent changed. Can you work spells or rituals on such a things? Maybe that sounds dumb, but i honestly want to know. In all of the material I have ever came acrossed, it never once mentions anything about it.

Being of pagan believes, or wiccan such as myself. What do you do with holidays? I mean some holidays originate from other religions. Do you just go along with it? Like everyone else, just because they do. Or not celebrate it? And for example, like my family is all christian. Even mentioning my believes gets a scorned eye. So what do i do when they have their little prayer? Do i do my own mental prayer of to whom i choose? lol just want to hear your thoughts people.

This is a long post... so kick back, relax, make sure your glass of tea is filled. :)
I work with a woman who I have always felt was the most depressed woman I had ever met. We have phone jobs... in collections... and if a customer yelled at her (which happens daily) she would burst into tears. And yet... she has a parttime job at the State Penitentiary, so I didn't get it. Working 2 jobs and she had a hard time making ends meet and finding a place to live. I felt sorry for…

Just To Be With You
I Played the game and I lost
but I would pay any cost
Traveled this road a time or two
But there is nothing I wouldn't do.
Just to be with you
I'll walk the line
anytime
Dance the dance
just for a chance
Play any game that you desire
Can't you see my hearts on fire
You may never see
how much you mean to me
Or the way my love grows
from uncounted…
