@rowan; many people have views of us which are far reality. Their attitudes towards have have been polluted by the modern media, and by the Christian Church. Personally I have been able to convince a few by explaining the mechanics and the the purpose of our rituals and our beliefs. If all else fails remind those who judge what we do that every Christian holiday and tradition predates said faith and they originated with us. I have learned this forces them to open their minds. Also; of this person means a great deal to me (although be it this is extremely rare) I consult the Old Crone to guild me as as she is the teacher of wisdom.

Merry meet everyone .my birth name is Sam but please call me Rowan. 

Im not new to the faith, i decided to walk this path a long time ago. but im fairly new in practicing. Im a young Lesbian (17 going on 18) but knew who i was since i could speak. i have always been attracted to females. 

i was just wondering if anyone here good help me out. Im in a relationship with someone who does not believe in my our path and was wondering if anyone here could give me some advice in what to do. she finds what i do weird when i'm doing a ritual. i don't know if i should explain to her exactly what i am doing or just ignore her side comments. if anyone has experience with this please fell free to message me. Note to Onyx, Hurray for finding an adoptive family that doesn't hate you! Consider that they may actually be your "real" family. Love makes a family. Biology sometimes gives us nothing, or worse - agnst.  Take care.

My Aunt Cindy (Also known as Shadow) Is the one who got me into Wicca. She cast me my first circle when I was 11, and I started practicing it when I was 12. I live with my boyfriends Christian Lesbian Mothers, Dawn and Cindy (not the same Cindy) because my real family hates me. Hi, I'm Jim. I'm still waiting for a Wiccan name to come to me. I'm not new to Wicca but I am new to really practicing and developing my callings and avocations. I have a big background in Christian mysticism, history and music and combine that into Wicca (not the other way around).  I've been out of the closet forever. I'm 53 and came out when I was 13.  Shriek!  My partner is new to Wicca and loving it, my adopted gay son is adept, my lesbian niece (calls me Dad) is very interested and I'm teaching but still have a ton to learn myself. I've a lot of catching up to do.

I have to say;I found this a little amusing. xD When I joined... there were 69 members...
Anyways, I'm Destiny. Fifteen going on sixteen, have been pansexual since I was eleven, but I call my self a lesbian to most people seeing as I don't find anything in the male species [Yes, species] and I have never dated, kissed, held hands, etc. with a guy. I'm wiccan, I'd like to call my self a witch since I've joined the craft two years ago on October 28th, but haven't been really /practicing/ due to family issues. Um... I dunno what else to say. xD
