I have different rituals for Sabats, Esbats, Moons and to performs spells. I've written liturgies and am a church and other musician so I like using Anglican chant with whatever lyrics/blessings etc. to assist in prayer/meditation/spell work and mantra. I have a strong affinity to rocks/crystals/minerals and build a lot of my ritual using these to draw up power and distribute it.
Forest of choice:
My favorit forrests are Beech/Maple/Oak climax forrests but I also love evergreen forrests and stands. I've never seen a forrest I didn't like but there are lines, zones or patches where the energy is weird or manacing in some places. I pick forrest spots based on the kind of energy I find there.
Beach of choice:
I live very close to Lake Ontario but I don't recommend it for magick at all. The local Iroquois didn't like the shores of Ontario - didn't like the energy or the diseases it had in the 1600's. The best place in NY for magic is the finger lakes espicially if you can find a Glen without a lot of people around.

Favorite Music:
It would be impossible to list. I like ancient music esp. William Byrd and Hildegard Von Bingen. All manner of pre-19th century Church music, I also like Baroque esp. Purcel. I have a passion for Romantic era music like Chopin, Liszt, Bizet, Barber etc. Love Rachmaninov esp. his Choral music. Love Bruckner - OMG! I also really like new age and meditation music - there is some great stuff being recorded. Okay, now about dance music - there is a lot of fun stuff and a lot of trash out there right now. Gaga is genius. Agulera will not fade esp. if she keeps doing things like Candy Man. BUT the music I love the most and perform the most is 20's-30's American Standards and Jazz. My hero is Michael Feinstein who is saving this music and helped Ira Gershwin compile his library in the final years of his life. I adore all that stuff and I seem to have a voice for it.
Favorite Band:
Tommy Dorsey. But my favorite modern bands are the classic/opera rock genre. Queen is #1 of those but so many had really great songs.
Favorite Books:
"Misquoting Jesus" & "Orthodox Corruption of Scripture" Bart D. Ehrman; "Biology of Belief" Bruce Lipton, Phd; "Losing Our Democracy" Mark Green; "The Complete Book of Flower Fairies" Warne.

Those with a depraved indifference for life tempt me to "help" Karma do her job faster. I fight this and am mostly successful.
Political Orientation?
We have a political ORIENTATION? Really?! I think that there is no such thing as healthy competition. With all competition there are winners (a very few) and loosers (everyone else). This is a recipe for unlimited human suffering. I am a collaborator and I think that only collaboration can inch us toward a much better goal - everyone wins. I don't like any politics that does not work toward the goal of everyone winning. That's my orientation.
How would you like to end up?
