What got you started?(this is a rant)

For me it was a series of vission-type dreams. The images to shamanistic to be ignored.The timing also seemed to play in factor.
1st. the dreams... being struck by lighting in the 3rd eye,
Being bitten by a White-winged Cobra also in 3rd eye, waking from a dream in the dream.
Doing battle with myself on an old rope suspension bridge over a dry jagged valley.
Always kind of looked at Rod Serling as a possible spirit guide.

Physical causes being ill with loosing left kidney affected faith in God.
Parents split up and divorced.
Other shit!!!1981!!!

Comment by erthgoddss on December 20, 2008 at 4:04pm: I searched until I found my path. I had absolutely no knowlege of paganism.. hadn't even heard of it. I was searching for something that fit me and I fit into. I "stumbled" onto wicca.. then paganism in general. It was not a short search... I had looked into different religions and belief systems long before I stumbled on this path that feels so right that I have never second guessed it.

As far as 2012.. no one knows for certain. It is a possiblity because all of the other Mayan prophecies did happen. That of course doesn't make it fact... but it has a good chance of being true. All we can really do is wait and see.
