Such a beautiful tiny flower

Is the forget-me-not

How could I ever forget my true love

I think of you every hour

Soft blue petals just like your eyes

Somehow they keep me mesmerized

When I hold you time stands still

I'll love you forever and you know I will

You throw your seeds of love everywhere

Some call them weeds but I don't care

I just can't help but stare

at my tiny flowers in my garden

I'll forgive the world and…

I know how to smile and laugh
And I know how to cry
As I remember you and all that we had
I thank you for that photograph

When I miss you
And I'm feeling blue
I know just what to do

I look again at the pictures of you
Some old and some new
Beauty isn't just skin deep
It's you in my dreams when I sleep

I held the hand of a little girl lost

We walked for awhile together

She told me about her life

She lived her life so fast

And now she had to pay the cost

She said she was lost in the dark and in her past

I said I'll hold your hand and help you find your way

Slowly the clouds blow away and she saw the sunshine

I could hold her hand tight enough

She was drawn into the light

She had too much pain here

So she took flight…

Show me the way to heaven I cried

But my angel said no

Free me from my chains

My angel still said no

Please I need to be free I begged

My angel said no

What must I do I cried

You know what to do she said with a smile

No I cried I don't have a clue

My angel looked at me with tears in my eyes

She simply said live

I cried no I don't want to anymore

It's too hard without you near

She smiled into my eyes and…

My memories are like chocolates but instead of emptying the box

I am filling it

All our time together goes into the box

All your giggles and your smiles so sweet

Your beautiful soft voice melts away

Your sparkling eyes always leaves me wanting more

Your annoyed with me again sweet and sour

All the loving hours that never fill me up

There is no lock on this box

Every time I open it

I smile and I cry

So many mixed emotions …

Now is the hour I wait for each day

I lay here quiet and still

I think of you

And always will

How your eyes hypnotize me

They make me dream only of you

You fill my nights with happiness

Then you're gone

You've flown away

And you are free

When I wake from my dreams

I wonder where you have gone

This happens every night

I long to be with you next to those flowing streams

Awake again waiting

My dreams are always the same

No matter what distractions of the day

When I'm with you it's pure delight

With you I find my love while the world spends it's time hating

The sky darkens with the moon's eclipse

As the seas rise and fall and wave…

Life sucks sometimes it's true

But make the best of things that's what you have to do

Take what you have and make it better

If she thinks she's going to win don't you let her

Learn life can be beautiful just the way it is

Even if you don't have champgne with fizz

Love a little, laugh a lot

And don't worry about the things you aren't got

Young lovers say forever when they mean tonight

Their love and lust rages with in their bodies

An old woman remembers the love she has lost

She thinks of how life is to short and longs for

the love and lust of her lover who has now past.

But their love was not just for a night

It lives forever and a day

The love in her heart keeps her warm at night

Happy in her dreams

No, there will never be another lover for the old woman 

She needs no other…
