I love the goddess Oshun. I haven't been "active" in my craft for a few years.. back then I chose her for half of my magickal name.. I knew a bit about her.. the superficial stuff.. Goddess of rivers (I've always been drawn to them) , Goddess of love, sensuality..
I knew I was drawn to her...I knew she would be important to my life...
and then I fell away from my studies and went back to the religion of my childhood because of unfortunate child custody…

In the beginning when mankind opened their eyes they began to awaken. With barley enough intelligence to grunt in understanding they still managed to form methods of communication which still exist today in cave paintings and other recovered artifacts. As we examine our roots we can clearly see these were very superstitious and spiritual individuals. Rituals were performed before hunting and the god/gods were thanked for what they provided. Most tribes and clans had a Shaman or Healer if you…

Alienated
Sometimes as the rain falls upon my puddled troubled footsteps, feeling foriegn, frustrated, and abondonded.
I feel this intense indifference as soon as you cross my path with...
Jesus is lord and saviour, your time has come to repent or you shall face the rapture, it will capture you in your devilish sin and god will forsaken you, if you do not have his son's blood within.
You will be trapped in a vortex of misery, agony, sodimy, and the likes of…

It bothers me that so many focus more on the past, that they loose focus on the now and future. Yes it is important to know our history so that we don't repeat it, but if we are focusing more energy on what happened in the past aren't we bound to repeat it anyway?
We must focus on the future, take an active part in forming the tomorrow by taking responsibilty for what we can change today.

It was storming, a southwestern monsoon. The rain had been coming down in layers not drops since about 4 PM. The streets were mostly rivers. The light show over the Black Mountain was breathtaking. One could not tell where one thrum of thunder ended and the next began. It was a perfectly relaxing night for me. I knew I would sleep well – I always do when there’s an electrical storm. My insomnia would not be bothering me – or so I thought.
My brain has a most annoying habit of waking…

Two Wolves One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside all people. He said, 'My son, the battle is between two 'wolves' inside us all. One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego. The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth,…

Did you ever have the feeling, that you experience your past lives in a dream, or that your dreams are very very real. My dreams are as vivid as the life I am living now. It feels like they transport me somewhere else while I am sleeping and not every dream is the same. They seem very random when they go from dream to dream every night and sometimes I have no idea what to make of them. Ne suggestions?

I was informed by a friend about a disgusting act that took place in California and so far... nothing is being done.
I am very very angry about this. I can not believe how heartless people can be. Animals are living, feeling, breathing beings. We need to help them. Be there and love them.
A puppy named Karley was beat to death by her neighbor, for no reason. This neighbor is an Assistant Fire Chief. He is said to have beaten her with closed fists, hit her with a big rock on the…

I think witches have a bad reputation due to lack of knowledge. Also, back in the day we were hunted and brutely killed so granted I guess we have a bad wrap for wanting revenge. Silly really dont you think?

In my dreams i see the trees
where the fruit is ripe and all so sweet
One body lying naked on a alter of stone
And shes waiting for sacerfice
With all her hopes to grow
And as a chill from the mountains
Cools the valleys below
I see in my breams this place I should go
Over and over the dreams reappear
A constant reminder and a vision I choose to call
My sacred place

As i drop to my knees
Beneath this tree
And gaze at my reflection
In a cool running stream
I drift back in a time
When the earth was new
And the majic was real
Is this true this thing that I see
Or is it just a reflection of myself
In a cool running stream

Flouting through time
Endless and free
Counting the faces
And the things that have changed
It can bring you a chill
But it can never be still
It may even comfort you on a warm summer day
If I had only one wish
This is what it would be
To see through the eyes of a warm gentle breeze

I fear not this wonderful thing
Witch lightens my path
So that i might see
Its beaty is its strength
And its wisdom is clean
But its frightened by so many
That its beauty is unseen
So tonight i give thanks
In hopes that it might
Give warmth to my body And give sight to eyes

Their existence in flux,
meeting only a short while.
Twilight's birth in the crux
of a hundred million miles.
Existing in suspension
no words need be spoken,
no adoration mentioned.
They are both duty bound
to universal invention.
He exists there with she,
in fleeting ecstasy.
Calm and secure.
No ceiling, no floor.
And the circles of time
cease their spinning.
