Merry Meet
i've been surfing this site and many other pagan/wiccan sites for many months yet i have not been able to "soul-search" my inner name as some call it. I am waiting 1yr 1day before i do my self-dedication ritual when i will take on my new name. problem is i am havin a hard time finding possibilities which fit who i am. if anyone has any ideas where i can look for ideas and such, please let me know

i have an idea....which usually works for me. When I find myself searching for something I just stop and stop worrying about it and it comes to me. :D Just push the thought out and let it come to you naturally.

MM Donna, for the longest time i have no recollection of my dreams, the few that i do remember are the ones that wake me up in fear. i have though for some reason always felt an attachment to bears, (as a kid i was terrified of them and had them on my mind alot) i also associate myself with the colors Blue and Black. I will keep searching and try meditations,

merry meet, I just thought that this might help you recall ur dreams a bit more often, i place crushed lavander in a satchet under my pilloe, a little chamomile tea and I remember every detail

Maybe I did it wrong, when I got mine. You seem to be doing it right according to all the grimoires I've read. Mine came to me almost in the same instant I realized who the Lord and Lady are and made the decision to follow their ways. I'll spare you the details, but my name comes from the stars in the sky just before the sun breaks the horizon. They are not as bright as the stars at twilight, but the dawn starlight holds the promise of the return of sun. I know it probably sounds screwy, but I feel the name fits me and was given to me by the Goddess herself.
I admire your dedication and committment to following the guidelines set down by those who've passed that way before. Keep your chin up. I will ask the Goddess to make your name known to you as well.
