I was wondering if anyone had any idea of what i would need to travel to canada? I have always wanted to go and thought why not this year? I was hoping someone knew about their immigration laws, my hubbys mexican, and what i would need to get before we made our trip, I hope i can get help, thnx for reading this, and if u have any info,, i am all ears, alright, merry part all and blessed be.
It is my understanding that you would need to have a passport now. I know that it used to be much easier, but Homeland Security has made it so that you have to jump through hoops while juggling to do anything now.
All you need is a passport, Which is really good to have anyway. A cell phone or calling card to use a pay phone. Other than that, Where in Canada are you planning to vist? I live in Vancouver.

When i went last year I had to have my passport of course and also your birth certificate is needed sometimes....the calling card/ cell phone is a must. Also, I had to have the correct address/name/number of the place i was going and who i was staying with, my plane ticket and the info on my roundtrip ticket (departure date etc...) It was very chaotic entering canada but coming home was a breeze. They do ask alot of questions at customs when entering so just be prepared for anything. I hope you have a great time!
