Each is powerful, only in different ways. I have found the wolf to be a very powerful protector.

ohhh.. i never knew that.. coz some say it's the raven, some say it's the dragon... so how powerful is the wolf and what it can do?

The Wolf is very protective of its pack/ family and territory.From birth wolf is forever transforming as she meets the experiences of her world, embracing the changes and the lessons they bring. She shows us the value in transformation. Intuition and to trust our decisions. As a Celtic Symbol the Wolf was a source of lunar power. Celtic lore states that the Wolf would hunt down the sun and devour it at each dusk so as to allow the power of the moon to come forth.
Wolf - Knowledge. The wolf is a cunning, intelligent creature, capable of out-thinking hunters. It can teach you how to read the signs of Nature in everything, how to pass by danger invisibly, how to outwit those who wish you harm, and how to fight when needed. Sometimes the world, seen on a journey, will lead you to a spiritual teacher and guide.
Wolf uses Raven as aerial spotters for possible food sources and to alert them of any danger that may be ahead. In return for this service, Raven shares in the feast Wolf provides by the Prey. Raven is the Holy Messenger, Magic and Shape Shifter that is closely associated with Wolf and may be considered part of Wolf Medicine as well.WOLF IS THE PATHFINDER AND GUIDE. IN THE PRESENCE OF WOLF, TEACHING IS TAKING PLACE.
WHEN THE RAVEN IS PRESENT, THE TEACHINGS ARE OF THE UNSEEN WORLD.
When I feel threatened, I do what is called a "Wolf Protection Ritual". It has worked wonderfully! Those who have been a threat to my family have even told other people that they have had reoccuring nightmares about coming to my house and being chased away by a large wolf! The lesson for them is to leave my family alone.

Greetings!...I have found that indeed the Wolf is a very powerful familiar...but as the true to be told, the Raven is the one which carries the soul to it's destination...it is also the watcher for the otherworld and is highly respected among practitioners...the Raven also carries with it a vast knowledge of magick and it ways...all seekers of knowledge of the otherworld will always encounter the Raven for their quest...the Raven has been around for a very long time and has been used for many purposes...of which shapeshifting powers are one...if you look you will always see or hear a Raven nearby one who is of the Craft...this is because it watches over all who practice...in case it's knowledge may become needed...whereby i say these items about the Raven, for it is because of these gifts that i have been blessed with...this is why i have been given the name of Raven...i am as old as the Raven and just as powerful...i have all of it's attributes and knowledge...i was also taught by a very powerful and wise medicine man in the native magickal ways...i have many Ravens that follow me whereever i go because we all share what we have with each other and those in need among us...i will say tho that the dragons power is by far the fiercest among all...however it is a little difficult to find one roaming arond aimlessly these days in need of a Witch to serve...but then again i have met three so far[i wont tell where] and they have pledged thier loyalty to me...since i was the only one who could find them and befriend them...so i hope this answers a little bit for you in addition to revealing some about myself...if any are in need of any knowledge that i possess and i can help in any way with whatever you may need...dont hesitate to ask...i will try to answer as best as i can...Blessed BE to Thee...and may Darkness be with you always...DW

I have been studying for quite a while. I have a pretty good library I have collected over time, and several good online sites that provide wonderful info. The Wolf Protection Ritual is very easy to perform. It was an original Native American Ritual. I am Eclectic and have Indian Ancestry so I find myself drawn to the Indian Ways sometimes. Well here it is;
Supplies-Fire Pit/bonfire/cauldron (whatever you choose),Offering, Sage stick, drums (optional). Instructions- Make fire. Hold hands to feel warmth from the fire and then palms to the sky. Say- Hiya...Hiya....Hiya...Hekohey! On this night from the forest and the field, the den and dark, I call you Great Wolf!- Clap hands or beat drum in steady rhythm like a heartbeat. Visualize an alpha pair playing with their pups. See them in a gentle breeze, happy,safe. Continue clapping and say- Mother, Mother Nursing your pups Watch over me and mine. Father,Father protecting your family watch over me and mine.Come O sisters and brothers of the clan, come dance in the firelight! Feast on the bounty of the hunt, Sing with us in the dark, and hunt within our dreams! Owooo! Owooo!- Burn sage and spread over each person participating. If you are alone as you encircle (clockwise) yourself in the sage smoke, picture your family that needs protected. Pick up a handful of dry earth and sprinkle into the flame saying "We are one!" Visualize the alpha pair and pups safe and happy. Raise your offering to the sky with these words "Please except my offering". Lay it on the ground. Then say- My clan is safe, Many Thanks Brother Wolf.- The ritual is complete. I have always perfomed this on my property and as I said before, it works Great for me. Good Luck! -Be Blessed
