Do you need to do a Dedication Ritual?

its prefferable to do a dedication to please a god, or to ask for their favor, but it is not necessary.  of course it does kind of depend on which path you follow.  I would reccomend reading up on it.

yes you should before all spell casting so you can ask for help from the God /Goddess it's always a good thing to start with one. Don't forget to thank whatever God or goddess for their help
