I'm usually good at interpreting dreams. My family and friends call me when they want to understand what it is that they just dreamed about. Well last night, I found myself very confused. At first it started as a dream but then continued even though I was awake. I need help in understanding what it means, or maybe I'm just losing my mind....
Here is my dream.
My husband, my 3 boys and I are is a strange house. I can only remember 2 rooms. One room had a large bed in it but that's it. The other room was scarcely furnished, with a table and a few chairs. I put my boys in the room with the bed ( they were sleeping). I was in the other room with my husband standing by the table. All of a sudden there was a swarm of bees surrounding me. I remember that there was no color in this dream, except for the bees. The yellow part on their bodies were glowing.
My skin started to feel sticky, I thought it was because of the bees. Then I started to feel like something was crawling on me. I looked at my hands and it looked like very small bees were trying to break through the sticky film on my skin. The reason I think they were small bees, was because they were also glowing. But not one time did any of the bees sting me.
I was kinda weirded out, so I woke up. I looked at my hands and of course, nothing was there. I started thinking, What is that supposed to mean? And then I heard a very soft laughter, not malicious, just laughter. I ignored it. And started thinking about my boys. I was thinking, are there bees in my house? But I'm in Alaska, there are no bees in the winter time here... Should I check on the boys? Then I heard it again. The soft laughter, and the a voice said, "Yes, go check on your boys."
That kinda made me jump, but I did check on my boys. They were fine, and asleep. I laid back down and started thinking....is this a joke? And all I got in response was that same soft laughter.
What am I supposed to make out of that? It didn't scare me...but it was so unexpected.
