threw you the obvious
and you flew with it on your back
a name in your recolection
down among a million same
difficult not to feel a little bit
disappointed and passed over
but i look right through
see you naked but oblivious
and you dont see me
but I through you the obvious
just to see if there's more behind the
eyes of a fallen angel
eyes of a tragedy
here i am expecting just a little bit
too much from thy wounded
but i see
see through it all
see through
see you
cause i threw you the obvious
to see what i cast behind the
eyes of a fallen angel
eyes of a tragedy
oh well
ooh well
apparently nothing
apparently nothing at all
you don't
you don't
you don't see me
you don't
you don't
you don't see me
you don't
you don't
you don't see me
you don't
you don't
you don't see me
you don't see me
you don't
you don't
you don't see me at all!
This is a song by A Perfect Circle, one of my favorite bands, sang by Maynard James Keenan. This song struck me the hardest of all the songs he's sung in the past. I see myself in this song. Just the words don't do it justice. You have to hear him singing it with that beautiful music the band does so well. If you haven't heard this song, please find it and do more than listen, feel it. It's amazing. A high all in itself. If you have heard it, go back and really listen. I sincerely hope some one else can get the same out of it as i do. I am a very devoted Tool, A Perfect Circle, and Puscifer follower. In case you didn't know, Maynard is lead vocals in all 3 bands. The music may be pure genious, but the words really strike a chord in some part of my life. I have yet to find a song that hasn't affected me somehow. I hope you will also get great pleasure from these works of art. Btw... a lot of these songs are great to meditate to. It's very calming. Enough chatter... check them out and enjoy. Blessed be.
