THE FREEDOM OF WICCAN- OF BELL, BOOK, AND CANDLE
- Most religion is of dictate and dogma, where there is a leader making followers, those who then lose themselves as they then follow in a space of spiritual non-participation. I have experienced Wicca as a spiritually free space of inner and outer exploration of the known and unknown universe. As a Wiccan I am allowed my own vision and insight; the meaning of Goddess. In the name of Gaia, Goddess of Earth, for the day of All Mothers, here is my ritual of Bell, Book and Candle.
- The Bell- Is of time and listening, take the time to ring the bell and may you always hear.
- The Book- Is every book that was ever written, as time was taken to do it. It is every opinion of every author, for an open mind and open heart.( Watership Down would be my book) laurel.
- The Candle-Is of light, to strike the spark, to know that you are a part of the energy of the universe, an energy that will forever be. HAPPY MOTHERS DAY.
