Random rants from a Marine's mind...

Ok, so heres the deal... I woke up this morning, as much as I didn't want to, and I went out to administer some PT... Mind you, I wasn't supposed to do anything, so I wore my best Cami's (camouflage, our uniforms everyday when were working)... So, were out there, and I get told that I'm going to be a demonstrator for the next evolution (the next PT event, for you civi minds out there...)I look down the line, and I see that it is drenched in mud, grass, and about 2 inches of water... I can't really tell the Gunny (The Gunnery Sergeant, my boss pretty much) no, so I lie down to prepare, and get soaked already... My phone in my front pocket gets washed out, its still drying back in my room, don't know if it will survive, and I get everything more wet than it already is, because I had to set the course up in the pouring down rain... So, I start the evolution, and the gunny keeps stopping me to point things out to the people I'm demonstrating to, and it finally is over... So, I finish, tear everything down, am soaking wet, dripping mud, and guess what, I only get 30 mins. to get ready and get back to work!!! So I rush through everything, get back to work, and then everything starts getting bad... People complaining about everything, and trying to give me flak for doing my job... *sighs* God bless the USMC... And the worst part? I can't go home to someone I love and care about that can kiss me and say everything is going to be ok... I can't wait until this is over, and I can be at home... Hell, I can't wait until I'm going to be a civilian again... Well, I guess that I will talk to you guys later... This weekend is going to be much deserved, and I'm going to not work at all (hopefully!!!)... This is the Marine, signing off from another day in Okinawa... Blessed Be!!!
