Past lives

Most of us believe in reincarnation. IMO... reincarnation is to correct what went wrong in previous lives. Karma plays a part in reincarnation (again imo) in that lessons we did not learn in our previous lives come up in our new lives to be learned or corrected. I do not believe that if we did horrible things in our past lives that we are bound to be miserable in our current life.

As an example: I believe that in a previous life I had a lot of children and was very poor. I believe that in that prevous lifetime I wished that I had never had children... but the times insisted that women be married and give birth whether we wanted to or not. In this life I learned at an early age that I could never have children. At my ripe old age... I miss that. HOWEVER.. I believe it is a lesson learned. That even though at one time I wished I didn't have something and in this life I wished I had something.... it is a lesson in moderation. That all or nothing is not an option.

Does anyone have an opinon on this?
