new beginings and lots of turkey

Well first off I hope everyone overdosed on turkey! ( I know I did)

You see, Thanksgiving has always been a special time to me. For it's upon this time that I start to remember just what it means to be thankful. I'm thankful for my family of course and my friends as well, but I am also thankful that I have been able to persevere through the hardships and learn from them as well. with the seasons come change and for me I feel I have changed a lot. This month is also special for like all my thanksgiving I celibrate my birthday, and this year in particular seems like I have just become of age if that makes sense. I worship some old storm spirits, Luna,(the Moon Goddess) The God of Fire Lou, and my patron/mother Goddess seemed to make it extra special. First yesterday we had a lightning storm, and today it was a nice relaxing rain. ( I have always loved/enjoyed the rain and thunder/lightning storms) Then we had a beautiful sunset that started as orange then turned to a pinkishred color over the lake behind my dads house which turned into a calm welcoming golden sunset with only a few clouds. As I left for home the Moon was a beautiful golden color (a big moon at that) with a bit of black as well. The night was calm and relaxing and the stars were shining bright as well. So you see it was as if the god's, and Godesses and storm spirits were celibrating with me. I don't think I will forget this birthday for a long time. An I personally Can't wait to see what the next year brings.
