my first ritual (Well, offering actually)

Ok, so I am unexperianced in rituals (see title lol) and am planning my first one tonight. I found a stick that I can use as a staff, but I don't have the means to consecrate it just yet, so it will be left out of this one. So what I plan to do is make an offering for the Horned God and Triple Goddess. What I have done so far is found a lighter, and gathered herbs out of my mothers garden. Tonight, I will gather two of my mothers candles and a small glass of water and sneak out of my house with them, the herbs, and the lighter. I will dig a small whole, and then caste a circle. I will ask the horned god to come and light the candle on the left. I will invite the elements to join me in my offering and help me with it. I will then ask the triple goddess to come and light the candle on the right. I will thank them for coming and then light the herbs. I will ask them to accept my humblest offering of basil, parsley and rosemary and allow them to burn. After it has burned a little while, I will take the small amount of water and smother the embers. I will then use the dirt that I dug away to bury the offering. Then I will thank the Horned God and Triple Goddess for coming and accepting my offering and blow out their candles. I will then dismiss the elements and open the circle. I will then sneak back into my house and place the materials I used back where I got them.

Does this sound reasonable?

I used to get my directions and elements mixed up, but I used the same method that I used to bring up random things in conversations to memorize the elements and directions. One of the random things is that the wall mart I have in town has a yellow payphone. Anyways what I do is I tell my mind that THIS IS IMPORTANT! even if its not, and repeat things to myself several times. anyways ty a lot, i appreciate the support and advice.

Oh, and to answer your question, no I never built a fort, but I found a nice secluded area.

Oh, and I made a circle today around that area. I made it out of sticks I found laying around. Some of the larger ones I broke so I could make it more round, I'll take a picture later and upload it for yall.
