'Ello From A Theistic Satanist!

Although it's a blog entry...I shall say hello.

My name is Torey - and I am a 31-year-old solitary male Theistic Satanist hailing from the USA. I have been a practicing magician for 12 years. Theistic Satanism, as opposed to LaVeyan or Symbolic Satanism, is essentially diabolatry or devil worship - although we do not feel that "devil" is a very respectful term to apply to Satan who is our God. We do not 'worship' Satan insofar as cowing down - but we view ourselves as equals to ALL gods - as we are all cut from the same spiritual cloth - all of us springing forth from The All.

My personal pantheon includes many of the Goetia and the Demons of the Dukante Hierarchy. I also am a student of the Babylonian God, Nergal. I began my magickal career when I was initiated into an Eclectic Wiccan coven. From there my path has...evolved lol

I am also an Administrator, Mod and Tarot Instructor at MagickaSchool.com - which provides a free year-and-a-day training course in Wicca and a free 10-month course in the Tarot. We also have a massive forum of over 5,000 members. http://magickaschool.com/forum

I am an artist and a musician and a proud father. I am presently engaged to marry the love of my life. I suffer from Schizoaffective Disorder, a form of Schizophrenia - and I am HIV+. I also run my own website/support group for those suffering from mental illnesses at MindUnite.com. Ermmm...that's all that I can think of now lol

Comment by Torey on November 19, 2008 at 6:14pm: Awww you are lovely all of you! :D I would be most happy to oblige - "The All" is what some Neo-Pagans refer to in describing the Original Creative Power of the Universe - one could look at this as "God" - but not in a Christian sense - an impersonal, "energy field" so to speak - the spark of life and the "pool" of Energy from which all living things draw their lifeforce. I hope that this helps! And blessings to you all - it's wonderful to meet you, too!

Out of curiosity, would you mind explaining what the term 'The All' means? And humankind's relationship to it? (Sounds like an essay question...probably it is!) You caught my attention...and I've never had an opportunity to meet a Satanist before, so I'm extraordinarily interested in learning your perspective.
