Earth Sun and Moon

I was going through my hope chest looking through old papers this morning and I found this story that I wrote when I was 12. I giggled when I reread it and figured I would share it with yall!!

The Earth Sun and Moon were best friends. Earth knew it needed the sun to grow its beautiful plants and keep the humans alive. The Earth also knew that without the Moon the waters would rise and humans would not be able to stay on the ground to help take care of earths plants.
The Sun and Moon became jealous of each other because they felt the other was spending more time with Earth. Earth not like seeing her friends argue with each other decided that she would slowly spin around each day and in a year the Sun and Moon each had equal time with Earth.

Earth taught the humans how important it was to have sun and moon. Humans began to have festivals on certain days of the year to celebrate the Sun and certain days of the month to celebrate the moon. This made Earth, Sun and Moon very happy!!
