can a spirit physically attack other people

I have had others ask me if a dead person's spirit can attack you...... The answer, YES. when a person dies his/her spirit leaves this dimension and moves on, however if that spirit is lost it may reside on earth. the spirit may become unhappy or perhaps angry, depending on the nature of ones death or if ones self did or did not accomplish what they wanted in life.

I believe other spirits try to communicate in different ways with the physical world, that being physical or emotional.

I had a pretty bad experience last week, I went to one of the cemetery's in Greenville,Florida to pray for the other spirits in that area, I walked around and observed the entire area taking in mixed emotions from other spirits that dealt anger, depression, sadness, and a few parts of happiness. After praying, I went to leave and i felt this strong tenseness in the atmosphere, a few seconds later my body went limp, then immediately after, i felt strong cold hands grip my throat. I blacked out for a while then went into this bright light, as i walked forward the light went dim and everything around me turned into nothingness. moments later after feeling emotionally empty I woke up in front of a grave stone with the name Edward Henson engraved on it, I had bruises in the shape of hand prints on my neck.

Two days ago I fount out that Edward Henson was one of my many ancestors that died in america.
