"We are the birds of fire,
We fly over the sky
...
We make a road for the spirit to pass over"
Those are words from our opening music from Dead Can Dance; the song, "Song of the Stars"
And, what is this road? Traditionally, there are many answers, but two of the most popular are Bridges and Rainbows. Both wonderful and perilous, bridges and rainbows bind two areas, while at the same time seperating the traveler apart from the rest of us.
So, we'll start with bridges, and how they are used in myth and magick. Then, we'll move on to rainbows. They're not just for leprechauns anymore!
I hope you enjoy this week's show!
