i begin by casting a circle of protection and requesting the participation of god and goddess, i am a beginner so i study much the ritual or spell that i want to perform taking care in my words and actions. with the opening of the circle i dismiss any elements and thank god and goddess for their participation and protection and ask that only positive energies of the light remain and that all negative energies be banished and not allowed to remainl.
