We seem to have a lot in common. I am only just beginning to study Wicca in earnest myself. For pets, I also had/have cats,dog and guinea pig. I have notes for rituals too, I also write everything down. I had to organize all my notes twice to make sure that I could find what I need. I can understand being in information overload. There is alot of infomation out there. Just don't follow what people tell you make sure it feels right to you. You don't have to follow a set path, but choose what's right for you even if it's a mix of ideas.
