Huh. I don't have any friends here. pagan,wiccan, or otherwise. any one that shares our religion here follows a dark path. That's fine, i don't jusdge, until you stab me in the back... and that's what every one of them did! so I just stick to cyber-friends. I only need my family in the real world. Very glad to have you as a cyber friend. Maybe one day i'll run into some one who won't turn on me like a rabbid dog. trust me you've got it good. at least you have friends. blessed be.

awesome! i need to find something like that in this area. i really miss it *tear* and the people! i think im going crazy having to keep my true self from so many people. all my friends know im wiccan, but i cant talk to them about it. i feel like a fake sometime :( thats why i joined this site- i need SOME kind of interaction with pagans and people who think like me. all my friends here, like me and just think of my religion as 'something ill get over' - like a phase! its really hard sometimes. and when my friends ask me to go out on 'my' holidays i just end up lieing to them. im not ashamed, but it makes them unconfortable for me to talk about it. that- and if i lose those friends ill have noone here.

And I thought that i lived in the bible belt...lol We have a group called m.a.p.s. It's the morristown area pagan society. About 3 towns over we get a ren fair every year,rogersville. but for the viking fest we had to go to ohio. I really enjoyed that. Ohio is the birthplace of my favorite singer, of course i didn't find that out til after we got back. oh well. Maybe next time. But my husband says he'll never go to ohio again. I kinda liked it.

awww that sounds beautiful!!!! where do you go to festivals??? know of anything going on in the kansas region??? LOL, probably not, i live in the bible belt BUCKLE of the us! lol. when i lived in texas they were everywhere, but here.... completly different story......

I didn't want to buy a wedding dress, like traditional, and never wear it again after the wedding. Next year we're having a rennasance wedding. I'll get a new, fancy dress for that. But, even then, a rennasance dress is multifunctional. We go to ren-fair's, viking fests, and certain ceremonys that the dress will be perfect for.Who knows, I may pull out the first dress again. The big wedding is gonna be great. Gonna be outdoors. We'll be led down the aisle on horseback under an arche of swords. i've been told that at least 2 different news crews will be there. Also that,at least, 85% of the town. Hah... no pressure there...pssst. But i know it's gonna be so beautiful and worth all the nervousness.

lol! i have been going as a wiccan witch for halloween for years!! thats awesome! lol! a wedding dress and a halloween costume! priceless!

lol...thank you so much. We got married on october 25, so my handfasting dress doubled as my halloween costume. Now that's funny.Can you ever guess what I went as? You got it...a witch.lol.
