My name is Silvio, aka Auspex, I'm brazilian, I'm a Neo-pagan, Wiccan, and I came to know about Hekate in my childhood reading Thomas Bulfinch's The Age of Fable. This is a great book and it contributed to my belief in gods/goddesses and magic. I was amazed about Hekate crossing the sky in Her chariot pulled by serpents to attend Her priestesses when performing some magical rituals asking for Her help! )O(
I have worked with Her occasionally and I think She is a very powerful but not easy Deity to deal with. Maybe it's because She is one of the Ctonians Deities, and Her realm is a realm of shadows. I have a great admiration for Her and a great respect too because I feel She doesn't like to be bored with foolish things. )O(
Hekate came to me one night in a dream. Calling my name, arms outstretched, sailing across the river Lethe. Owls flew above. Her triple aspects peeked from their shadows. Hekate allows me to speak with her, although at times she can be challenging.
