Sam, I live in the MD of Bonnyville, so I don't walk through Town with the staff, I walk through a rural district of it. (15 minutes away from Bonnyville) I use stones and runes. Rutilated quartz, petrified wood, geodes, or other such stones have properties that are quite useful to a Chaos Magician/former Warlord, such as myself. And no, it isn't hard to walk with a staff, I like the exercise, and it helps as a third leg in case i trip.

Now you get to laugh at me. The best way to explain magick in reverse is sloppy magick. The subconscious desire is stronger than your desire to change it. I was with a friend and she was having a bad day so she was snapping at me all afternoon. So I was upset when I left her to go to a merry meet I had planned. On the way, I thought I would snap off a couple of quick spells to get me in a better mood, well you got it. My upset was stronger than my desire to be happy. The more energy I put into being happy, it just keep flowing back into my upsetness, making it stronger. Thank goodness, I can feel the energy when this is happening so I can stop it before it gets to strong. To put it magick terms, I performed a spell that did not have enough Fire/Water energy to make it materialize in Earth. I had a good time at the marry meet, so my upset desolved with the good energy I was surrounded by.
I do like "Occult Electricity". I think of spirit as Nous.
I think of Akasha as a primal ocean of endless quantum possiblities. An ocean that everything came from, everything is manifested now, and everything that will be. In my pea size brain, everything is thought and thought is energy.
Magick and science are one. The science of today was magick of yesterday. The magick of today will be the science of tomorrow. Tomorrow's magick will be the science of the future. The Fates will just keep going and going like the Energizer Bunny. You see, I do get to watch a little TV every now and then.

I have summoned them several time thru the years. I only worked with them as a group. These are Empedocles's idea of the elemental agents (not wiccan). Using them are the big league, they are unforgiving. When the magick is done and they have left, you will have to live with that contract for the rest of your life. You can not undo it. I don' t know yet if it carries into another incarnation.
On a lighter note, Sylphs, what do I say about them, they are very sexy. They are every man's and some woman's dream sex lover (tease, tease, tease). I like feeling and watching (lacking a better way to describe the way they look) Water Nymph, and Earth Faries. I am not close to Fire Salamanders. I feel them in magickal fires.
I don't know who your "guides" are but copper is the metal of the goddess. Silver is the metal of Diana. Most magickal tools are made of metal. The question to ask them "Do wiccans use rubber swords".
Christine likes metal, her next stop must be Alchemy. How did you link Spirit with Akasha? The Astral plane is more limiting than you may think (boring place).

Hummm? What are the essence of the 5 elements and how would you use that essence in your work? You like Metal, so why do you resonate more with that one and less with the others? I think that Metal's essense is "anything that comes from you". In my limited knowledge of this, the 5 elements are a system of "creation and destruction cycle" and our 4 elements are a "creation cycle". Everything I know comes for a class I took in Feng Shui. I like Feng Shui, I use it in my house and have found a very good use for it. I use it very differently than the chinese use it. So I agree with you that blending the Eastern beliefs with a Western mind creates a very useful combination. But then (there is always a but), a believer in that system will tell me "You can't use it that way. You are doing it all wrong." But than again, it works for me.

You need love then the fasted way to receive it is to give love. The universal law of "like attracts like" is one of the strongest laws that I have ever delt with. It is a law that will never let you down. It is hard to see it working at first but after a while you can look back and see how powerful it is. People will come and go as the power unfolds but each change will be stronger and more profound in it purity.
You have asked a very interesting question about the elements. I have very little study in the chinese elements. I do know they are not used the same as we use them. If the element metal means something to you then use it and bask in the revelation of your found power. It does not fall under the Earth category in western elements.
You have learned your magick very well, I see. You have identifies the main root of failure of most magick. If a witch was to look at their birth chart, they will know what elements they will have trouble with, the rest of their lifes. I have to much air in my make up. So in order to be a good mage, I have to correct each of my spells to correct this bias in the elements. So yes, your resonation is problematic in magick leading to unbalanced work.
Christine is the meteorite helping? There is no right or wrong way to do magick, only what works for you. You are the center of all the magick that you will do. If it feels right then it is right. Everything that you will learn is just modifiers or power busters, you do not learn to be you. I have faith in you and have see a very interesting future.

We consist of air/fire energy and water/earth energy. Air/fire provides us with action in the physical world, thinking, speaking, moving, ect. Water/earth gives us intuitive powers, leading us to the supreme intelligence of the universe. Knowing how to receive principle that participates in this process. The water/earth aspect in each person receives the universal creative energy of the goddess. From this, the energy moves out to radiates towards the outside world. We all need to know how to use this loving energy in our spell work. White light is an extension of self, to attach or not to attach is the question you must answer. Spread the love to ones that need it the most.
