Tea, Infusion, or Tincture? « Mind Body and Sole

one can be all three such as water , oil , or alcohol, while the other is strictly a alcohol base .
I realize this dear I just needed a place to store this as a note if I ever attempt to make an infusion...I'm more interested in tinctures at present...
OH LOL, I thought you were starting a conversation , my bad .
Oh no feel free to jump in & discuss if it interests you...I'm into tinctures whereas others are infusing with oils...but I may want to infuse at a later date...sounds like your familiar & must do some...any handy tips will be appreciated! LL &BB!
just oil school here , as in days long gone , we did not have the opportunity, to run to the nearest drug store and buy it off the shelves , lol. grandma was a stickler for home made remedy's,and leery of this new changing world , and from what I see, who can blame her . Perhaps its true when we are taught to pay attention to our elders ...
Exactly, and this is mostly what I've learned, a lot of just plain old do-it-yourself! I think you have a greater selection from medicinal properties if you do...Some things I wouldn't but a lot of it I would!
I understand , as we look into the mundane world we can see why , I have found a lot of quack doctor when it come to the fields of medicines, and in fact I believe that most today are the very causes of addictions , so yes sometimes and on many occasions Old is better .
Yes but lest we forget that far back is where addiction came from to begin with....when I was young it was prevalent in society & it took a lot of learning to know that denial is the biggest pitfall of addiction...it exists and we have had to remedy it but in the process learned that the simplest things in life are often the best...so then we have garnered what was really good from our grandmothers day and discarded what was not or somethings just became obsolete and have been replaced by modern pharmacology...it's mostly a behavioral problem and the only thing that'll solve it is maturity!
I agree , but to many times we find the younger generations have not a clue and they are the ones that fall victims, because they believe their is a cure (pill ) for everything . kid gets a cold run to doctor , I have a pain run to doctor I have seen this on and on. I dont really think behavioral but a society moving to fast and the attitude of let some one else do it , and gullibility.
Well don't forget that a certain segment of the population has always been sheltered and have not wanted and are we to fault them for having it all? A lot of folks don't want their children to face harsh reality...and those who became organic gardeners are the ones who find the secrets of the earth.....farmers are not ignorant ppl, they've had to work hard for a living & when things go right are richly rewarded...All we can do is accept our blessings from this life and know how special a human really is...that we are capable of so much even someone crippled has a special purpose...Prayers & Blessings to us...Peace Sister!
Oh I agree , as for the farming I so agree , as we have a long line here 328 acres... and your right about the harsh reality .. but coddling never done a lick of good , only to the babes .. and again a what we class as handy caps should never be turned into a crutch , but they are ....
....and may the Gods bless us....everyone.....well coddling maybe...I've done my share of mollycoddling and it's not easy when someone has a blind eye and can't see whatz good for them...that is a lot of land your at....I used to live on an 8 acre antique Victorian farm...sheer white house & barn built on Ledge....I cleared it out an had 3 huge gardens going....one was a rock garden with hanging trellis' and it looked so Italian I loved it! After bein' there for years the Highway Dept. took the land for a new highway ramp....I always loved the woods in Worcester though, so we relocated here....the nice part is it may be a huge town but it's surrounded by woods....I've studied so many things and one of them was Real Estate but never got to use it much but history is charming to look at...
