Contacting the spirit of a family friend?
When I was about 5 or 6, one of our family friends, Besty, died of breast cancer.
I want to contact her, but I am new to Wicca. Along with, I'm not sure how to do it. And I'm not sure how to do without possibly bringing a bad spirit in.
I'm pretty sure there is spirit(s) in my house anyways-and it doesn't like me.
So, can I contact this old family friend? If so, how?

Well for starters I wouldn't attempt it in your home that would almost certainly be a disaster.
Second have you tried a simple tarot reading to see if she wants to be contacted? Some spirits don't want to be bothered. They are happy where they are. Why exactly do you feel the need to contact her if you don't mind me asking? My friend died when she was 19 of a brain tumor and I'm not sure if I would contact her due to the fact that she wanted us to move on and not dwell on her death but remember her in life. -

I dunno. I mean, I don't remember her all too much, but for some reason, I just want to know if she watches us sometimes.
If she's proud of who we are. And how do you do tarot?
