Awesome! i see what you mean by trying to stick a cord. Your poems are amazing.
I know what you mean by using empathy to your advantage! I do it all the time!!!

I'm currently working on about 6 novels, Forbidden Territory, Forbidden Knowledge, Forbidden Romance, Forbidden Secret, Forbidden Identity, and one i just started as of today, Forbidden Innocence! I got my hands full!! i've taken a bit of a break from poetry for now, but i'll return to it soon!

ok I have had some troubled times, and I have a lot of people who have helped me through them...
This is dedicated to people like that. Also to one who Has helped me in more ways then I can probably think. It also goes to all those who have ever given someone else a helping hand in others times of need.

Nicole
by Cameron S.

Your such a kind girl,
you have amazing grace.
You make me smile;
reminding me simply
to be ok with our selves.

When I'm near you,
I feel very alive.
You like me for me;
who I am inside.

Your path is of peace.
You won't be denied.
We need more like you,
If we're to survive.
Nicole I hope you know
knowing you , I'm blessed.
For you truly are one of a kind
Not only that Nicole,
people like you help
keep the world alive.

Jewel of the Tides
By
Cameron S.

Jewel of the tides...
I know why you cried,
I see in your soul.
I see the places you hide.

Jewel of tides...
I still here your voice,
still here your cries.
Tears hidden by bitter sweet pride

Jewel of tides...
swimming in the blissful night,
stars;the only light.
Freely swimming forever by your side.

Lenore I look forward to reading the edited version. It's a very interesting piece.

lol I try to write ppoetry that strikes a cord with people. I am a meduim and tend to ghot write often. Spirits half the time will come tome and I just...well write ^^; also I'm empathic so I tend to take advantage of that as well.

Nicole Happy that one made you think :P Hnestly though I was thinking of what it must be like to be the ocean in a persons perspective. you know Always trying to get so close but confined by the stone we call land that won't ever let the sea meet people.

I just found this! I wrote this about a year ago i was watching the history channel More Haunted Houses Tortured Souls. There was a part about a salve or servant girl who had a special connection to her master. Anyway she wanted to get married but he was a mayor or something and said that he wouldn't be able to face the towns people. He said that facing them would be as easy as facing a storm of the elements. So one night while it was raining she stripped and stayed outside during the raging storm to prove her love. Well she died the next morning. (I might have a few details wrong this was a year ago.)

Ever Loving Death

Is it possible that you could love, love and always know? Know whatever is needed to be told, and everything that isn’t?
Ever wondering never quite sure, love has no cost, but why then can love kill? How can love be love itself without unbearable suffering?
You may think that you can not love, but everyone can. Love is something that hides in the shadows of the soul, waiting to be drawn out. But sometimes it is cast away broken, back into the shadows.
Passion never ending never filled, unable to be sure, if it’s for real, or all just lies.
Love never proven, never lost nor found, never gone, never there, but never forgotten, and always remembered.
Storm of the elements to be faced, for the love to be proven, never finished, empty, cold, and cold as death.
Death from love, sorrow of death, grief from love long lost, never forgotten, always remembered.
Love now proven, love now lost, eternal souls lost to time, bound by ever dieing love, and ever loving death.

It's kinda short but i haven't gone through and finished editing it yet...

Both awesome poems! I love the feel.
Cameron awesome i can relate... (sometimes depends upon situations like if my dad decides to play Father of the Year... long story)

Nicole well i just don't know what to say it was well awesome!

As you can guess i'm not real good at constructive criticism but i'm great at complementing! lol

not sure why I wrote this just started writing and this was the end result.

Untitled
An then there was only one drifting away in a champagne supernova....
fading like a mist on the wind.
The sea shatters as another enters the room as if in greeting with admiration as well as if knowing

someone will finally come to play...
alas the boy does not stay...

So all that is left is for me is to drip my tears,
to add to the sea and cry.
My tears now salting the waters of the sea
For I'm alone again.
Just...
simply me...
