ok what as can i say errrr...sorry lol lot of crazy stuff all happening at ounce on my end, but who cares..wait why was I... Oh yeah!!!

-Rachel I liked it the fact that you some what seemed like you created your own flow yet mixed it well with others. I look foreword to reading more of your works, and am flattered that you enjoy reading them.

-Lenore you flatter me deeply if you saw my face you would see me blushing a bit. As for getting it published your not the first who has told me this though....well heck I wouldn't know where to start. I always enjoy hearing what other people get from my poetry. In fact one of my favorite things about writing.....errr typing is that each person that reads something gets something different out of it.

-Nicole I am happy you liked it :) maybe I should re post the crazy poem I wrote about a rubber ducky XDDD Actually if I can find it I will do just that lol

As for thoughts on your most recent poem Nicole...
It's nicely done. It makes me feel a bit bitter at the end; though I like this one, for I feel it is different from most of your work. Then there is the fact that so many people can relate to it. To me it reminds me of someone falling deeply in love...falling so deeply that they live and breath for that person and are left with nothing but bitter memories of what was to come.

Keep up the great work all :)
Peace and love

Thank you for the welcoming. And the good review. I aswell tend to get lost in my own thought, I also write stories as well but for some odd reason i am never able to finish them.
I wish your mother and family well.
I adore your guys' opinion and hope to read more of them. I aswell LOVE to read poetry :) so I'm glad I'm here.

These are ALL awesome poems

Cameron- amazing! There is something about your poems that gets me every time, you should really think about getting your poems out there, you really need to publish them. Trust me i'd buy it! Yes i kind of do like to keep myself busy, i am really only working on two currently, Forbidden Innocence and Forbidden Identity.

Rachel- Welcome! I haven't really had a chance to welcome you properly, i've been kind of busy, last week my mom went into the ER and drama, and more family drama, long story not worth going into it'd bore you! lol Anyway she's fine now and all. Your poem was beautiful it reminded me of when i was younger. I would lose myself in my own fantasy worlds i still remember them i decied to write them down. I'd love to read the Merlin series by T.A. Barron those are probably the best books i've ever read, other than The Catcher in the Rye and Anne Rice!

Like i said amazing!

Her Inner Battle
By: Rachel L.

With every wish I will
She has yet to appear before me
An Owl may desire wings that are blessed
That may soar over the sea
But the Horse that intends to meet the Owl is lost
In a relm no wings can reach
For freewill is the barrier that has been cast
Need and desire of the Owl are at war, control is her's to teach
Lessons of which I must learn
For her inner battle is why I wish at all

Nice poems Cameron I like them, they are meaningful. What do you think of mine? :)

Bitter Not Sweet
by

~shadow~

One with dreadlocks,
Playing in sand.
Soon someday he'll be a man.

Father has noticed it…
Mother feels distraught,
for her child’s dead; blame's brought.

Mother cries out no!
Daddy has struck.
Daddy’s wrath's... now mother’s bad luck.

Daddy leaves; mother cries...
She holds him;
rocking, crying as he dies.

See the dead goddess.
Here her trials,
of how death seeped deep inside.

She now is disowned...
No more pride...
Bitter; not sweet, she cried inside.

It’s about... just something... calling it a soldier a scarecrow, a doll of some sort perhaps, or something personal. Like a stuffed animal given to you when you were but a young child. Or maybe it's a person made of flesh that you promised you would never forget about them and/or it. Everything to an extent has a memory that comes with it, or attached to it. So tell me do you remember yours?

The Soldier Not Found
By
Cameron S.

Angels sing,
demons cry.
Do you see behind these eyes?

Witches chant,
angels call.
I’m filled inside; I’m standing tall

Earthquakes shake,
rivers flood.
I’ll prevail for my families love.

Crawling up,
bending down.
Tears will fall without a sound.

Crumbling down,
geneses found
I’ll be here standing my ground.

I’m committed,
I’m bound.
For I’m the soldier not found...

Broken Epiphany

By
Cameron S.

We walk a line,
side by side...
to a beat that’s never ending

Day by day,
light to night...
Always helping another; lending and spending.

My heart is weak,
yours so strong...
forget the past; now start amending.

Your eyes told,
you did not…
why are people so Damn condescending!

Lay as is,
let it stay...
soon we'll start; beginning the condemning.

That's not fare!
That's not right!
this hatefulness is trapped within me...

Take it away,
free me please...
Make me feel less empty.

Some that care,
Some do not...
this is my broken epiphany.
