The Meaning of Life

As I lie in my greef
I sit up and smoke a reaf

As the world passes by
I think to myself and wonder why

Why do we live our lives
Shrouded in deception and covered with lies

As I smoke a little more
I ask myself "what's it for"

Why is it that we are here
And why do we hold things so close and dear

Then I realise what to do
It is to keep everything simple and true

I put down the smoking joint
And call my friend to explain my point

For all is lost if we do not try
To keep the world from passing by

So take hold of someone and keep them near
For all can be lost with your simple fear
