Ancient shadows from Celtic lands
Touch our ancestral memories
And echo forth the names unlearned.

Forgotten gods sleep unnoticed
Under ruined cairns, groves and hills,
Awaiting one to call them forth.

Eternal flames and sacred wells,
Holy groves where churches stand are
Shrines devoted to sainted gods.

Reverent rites at standing stone
Restores our lost thoughts and endears
Us to the forgotten divine.
