Music and…huh?

I realize that there's no cure for writer's block, but there are things that can alleviate it. One of them, I think, is reaching out to fellow writers and/or musicians. I have a song that I've been trying to write lyrics for I titled 'Opinion War'. All the musical parts are down (all in my head, that is), but I have fery few words to put with it to really fill it out. So, I'm asking for your help now - if you can supply lyrics for this song, you'll be immortalized in the credits of whatever CD it winds up being recorded on. There have to be a couple rules for this, unfortunately: lyrically, I want word pictures - lots of 'em. The metaphor I based the whole title and premise on is the imagery of a boxing match or street fight laid atop an argument over something petty. Musically, it's in Dbm, influenced by Hinder, Mudvayne, and Dream Theater (for any musicians who want to see what they could add to that side of it).

That's pretty much it; if you want to hear the music I wrote (if you try to use it as your own, I'll hunt you down and whip the shit outta you), I'll record a rough track with just two guitars and bass so you can get an idea of how it's supposed to flow - timing, rhythm, etc. Other than those, have fun and be creative! I know you people are!

when it comes to music, i'm all goooo. So if i could hear the flow I may be able to help you. Mudvayne kicks ass. Have you thought of incorperating a little Acid bath? Not the psychotic parts, but melody or tones. I really admire them. But Tool is my all time fav. Let me know what i can do. btw... sorry about the silverymoon lining. I just can't get into the whole d and d thing. I really tried. Belssed be.

I put a new playlist on my profile. It's tha thing that starts playing as soon as you get on my profile. Just sort through there and see if you like my style. I think that if you like Mudvayne, you'll also like the other stuff i have on there. Let me know what you think. Blessed be.
