@ Sam: I mostly use my decks for introspection. A way to tap into my inner me as it were. Now I'm not saying that one can't predict a pattern far from it as Fractals have shown us in higher Trigonometry and Calculus. Deity in Math and Science if you will. I'm a very introspective/analytical person, so I tend to look at the me as it pertains to the Macrocosm. Since I tend to over think things I will have to have more than one deck in order to keep myself from "seeing" things that aren't really apparent in the reading.

Hi all, This maybe interesting to anyone how live their life by divination as I do. A little short story that I found interesting and still pondering over. For the past few months, I have gotton several rock solid readings that a friends would be moving in with me at the end of December. I could not understand how this would happen but I live my life by my readings. So my life sort-a went on hold waiting to see how this would play out. Other freinds had ask to move in with me during this time but I could not let them because of the readings. Night before last, I had the friend over for dinner and as we sat by the fire we started talking about her moving in. During our talk, it happened whatever your path wants to call it (Karmic event, time marker, magick happening) that moment when everything collapes into a minute. Now all my divination readings are the opposit from 2 days ago. The event happened that was driving my readings. Looking back over the months, I can't wonder if the divination of her moving in was not a way for the universe to stop me from letting the other 2 friends (separate events) move in. Now, the energies patterns have changed in my little world since the event. Life is always interesting when you live your life by magick. Love to all

I think the "Mirror of the soul' to be the best book written on the Tarot (one of the few magick books that I thought worth keeping through the years). Crowley's interpretations of the cards adds a richer understanding to the deck. I like the drawing in the reader to take action after the reading is over. I don't use the deck but I use the meanings in the book for every reading. I know that sounds strange that I would read with one deck and interpert it with another deck's meanings but it works well for me. Well Llevi, you got me to read the interpretation of The Hange Man. OK, now I have to confess I have been using these interpretations so long now. I don't remember other decks. Love to you and your love ones. Yahooo, makes me want to though down some cards.

Oh my, now I have to dust off old memories. I think I bought my main deck that I use now around 19 years ago. Damn my deck is getting old (and so am I) but I have a back up copy that is just as old but still in the box. Before that, I played with the Rider-Waite deck on and off. The Revelations deck has a lot of Christian theme (sky ideals) running in it that I don't have a reference to. It is a nice deck, I think it could give some good readings. My main deck is aligned with my ideology of the universe and the other world. I get about 90% understandable readings and about 10% "you say what". My big hang up with divination is I don't like the waiting for it to happen to see if I was right or not. The pendulum give me only about 70% accurate. Love to all and a good night.

Welcome Llevi to our little group. What Tarot decks do you use? My main deck is "Tarot of the old path". I am trying to warm up to the "Revelations" deck (just not having any luck there).
