Hello! I'm utterly terrible at introductions. I'm moving to Chicago before fall semester begins. I'm still in search for my God and Goddess. There are soooo many!!!! 0_0. Any ideas of narrowing down the search will be helpful. Reading loads of mythology at the stage that I am at is not quite working. I'm intrested in Greek mythology, but that's because of a tv show and that's not fair. I'm studying to be an actress, either film or theater (perferably film). Right now Stage Combat has consumed me. Allowed to play with swords in class, hell yeah :)
Merry Meet to All;
I am new to Wiccan but as a friend once told me "Bob you've been Wiccan all your life. You just didn't realize it." She was right. I have always felt most comfortable being close to nature. As a boy i would go for long hikes in the woods.When I was sure that no one could see I would strip and carry my clothes in a bundle. I would watch the birds and forest creatures move and jump through out the woods, (yes even the snakes) I am a very spiritual person and over the years I have given thanks to a Universal God ( who in my mind looks more like George Burns rather than the one the Christians portray) and Mother Nature/ Mother Earth. I was born in Colorado and returned there back in the 70's. I have walked the Mountains of the Eastern slope all the way to the Continental Divide, Hence the name Mountain Dog, ( Given to me by an old Indian gentleman who said I wandered as if a lost dog.) Today Ilive in west central Illinois outside a small town named Liberty. I have my own piece of land and am surrounded by many trees, a stream and a meadow. I look forward to meeting and sharing with others.
May you all have Long Days and Pleasant nights. (yes I read Stephen King Books : ) )
Blessed Be Mountain Dog
