I used to be so into my dreams and was using them to connect to friends and get messages. It's a great world that goes much beyond closing your eyes and falling asleep. If Selene wants to know if she's having visions or not are you asking yourself if they are coming true?

I did go to my aunt's Halloween party and then I had a house cleansing on El Dia De los Muertos. The latter wasn't so much a celebration as an emergency stop gap.

Rebecca, Do you have big plans for Halloween or Samhain? I don't celebrate Halloween or All Saints day but I do celebrate the Day of the Dead this week. I have Esbat, Samhain and New years coming up next week. Oh me, Oh my, so much partying to do and in so little time. May we all eat, drink and be merry! Love to you and yours.

Thanks for another good explanation. To me, finding out in a more detailed and scientific manner is just as important as the spiritual element. For me the spiritual exists even if it is just within the human mind. A placebo is as real to me as medicine :)

William - the scientific proof you are wanting to valid magick is in what we in the craft call "parlor tricks". They have little value to us. That is where you spend a lot of time and energy to move a object at will, make thing disappear, ect. They do not provide any growth. Magick in it simplest form is will and emotion changing energy. We live in a quantum sea of ever change life forces, the variables now are not the variables of a hour from now. You are the magick, not the tools. Do or do not there is no trying in magick. Mythology places a big part of our belief system because it is a very useful tool to explain esoteric concepts. It gives us a common language across hundreds of different belief view points. Your belief ideas are important to us because diversity makes us as a whole stronger than having one view point. Love to you and your love ones.

I like your explanation. This makes sense to me. If any extraordinary claim is made, I believe strongly it must be backed up. However, while your statement is profound, it also sounds quite logical. Thanks for clearing that up :)

William, I want to thank you for providing us with a different prospective. It is not faith, we see the world full of life. Each with it own view point and goals for living. The magick you do on ourself, nobody cares. The magick that will change others lives, then sides are drawn. The bigger the magick more the power is needed to over come the others will. Even magick for the good of all, will have big resistance. We each decide what is right for us. There is not right or wrong just evolvement of Self. You are responible for you. Love to all!
