I had 3 very vivid dreams 2 nights ago. And after that the days have been...shall we say weird.
Has anyone else had a similar experience, where you feel Fate has shifted after you dreamt?
It's almost as if I am now in a different stream of consciousness. It is a twilight or a gloaming feeling I guess. Anyway it has me scared a bit so please lemme know your experiences.
It sounds like your brain has worked itself into a weird state. My usual response would be to medicate, but you'd probably do well by meditation. If you have trouble meditating try binaural beats. Go to this wikipedia page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binaural_beats and play the second sound file under the examples section. You have to wear headphones to get it to work. It will put you into or near a theta state, and you should probably be able to control your mind more easily.
I'm on some pretty heavy meds as it is though thanks for the advice I'll check the binaural beats. I'm bipolar so I know when I have a psychotic break this one ain't that. I think it was my subconciousness screaming at me.
Hi Rebecca, what you are experiencing is very common. You have just hit a time marker in your life, it is time to change. Big shifts usually start with two or three very vivid dreams. It is just time for you to align with your new adventure that is ahead. It is very neat that you noticed. Most people don't notice when their lives change. Congratulations for completing a Dharma task. You need to go out and have a pagan celebration. Now I get to talk to the new and improved Rebecca. Love to you and your love ones.
What is a Dharma task I'm not up on the whole Buddhist thing?
I agree with the whole transition period idea.
I've always had very vivid technicolor dreams as far back as I can remember which is approx. 15 -18 months old.
When I was about 6-18 I could control what happend in any dream that involved a fall. I haven't fallen in a dream in sometime however so the trigger is sporadic now.
I will be celebrating on Sat with my Aunt that good olde tyme holiday Halloween.
It is western karma and not eastern karma. Most pagan I know, do believe in reincarnation. What you have described is common in the western tradition.
Dharma task = If you believe in western reincarnation then you have life after life. One step more and you get several lifes in one life, So you have different life you live in this incarnate. When you finish what you have planed to complete or time you set a side for it then you move on to another Karmic issue. Time marker is a time in your life that you set before you where born to change to another Karmic issue.
Example: You are not the same person you were when you where a teenager. You are not the same person you were before your family, ect. I know a lot of people will say you got older but try to be that person, there is a disconnect to it. You can not go back when Karmic issues change, that life no longer has value to your path.
Hope you have a lot of fun for Halloween. Interesting holiday isn't it.
You get more fun this weekend with New Year, Time to party on Rebecca. I don't have any clue as to what year it is. I just know, I get to have a good time with good friends. A little eating, a little drinking, a little kissing, what more could a pagan ask for except maybe the bill to be payed for.
