Ok everyone. Were getting on into the new year and already people are suffering. So I'm asking everyone to send their prayers and best wishes to those affected by the recent earth quakes in Haiti, Chili, and Turkey. May our Goddess be with them and Her hands on their shoulders to ease their burden. Send the winds to blow away the stench of death. Send the rain to wash away painful memories. Send the fire to begin the processes of rebirth. Send the earth to encase the old and give life to the new. And send spirit to lift and brighten their own. Merry met, Merry part, and Merry met again.

Daniel: I think the reason you pray to her is she is known to a lot of us as a mother. Isn't mom the one we normally want to call on when we are stressed or feeling negative energy?

If anyone can help me understand who Nyx really is...I would really appreciate it. For some reason, I feel...idk. When something goes wrong, I instinctively pray to her. Idk why, and it kind of scares me...but not in a bad way..I think. Can someone give some insight?
