Hi Becky my runes are made from tigers eye that I polished up. The stones are silky soft and you can play nicely as they slide along the cloth instead of sticking to it. Ive also done them in quartz and river and ocean shore stones all of which Ive collected and polished. Any stones that feel right work as long as they are flat and slide well.

Started some concept art for a homemade tarot deck. Very surreal but strong symbolism so far. I've asked some friends around town to help and I think it might work :)

Sounds great. I've been wanting to make some runes for myself and I just haven't found the right stones yet. Any suggettions?

Made a set of runestones for a friend the other day out of drift wood that I had collected from the beach a few years back. came out with a white almost bony look - really cool !

I love crafts of all kinds, I work as an activity director and this gives me the opportunity to do this often, I made my own wand, several brooms, last year , my first Yule log.I also like to sew.I try to make everything I possibly can when it comes to things I use in rituals, and meditations.I am working on a quilt right now, doing it all by hand, so it will probably take forever to get it done. That is a problem.....Time. I am glad to get to meet new friends and share ideas.

I've been doing a little bit of everything....incense, soap, candles, sewing, embroidery, dolls, herbcraft, jewelry, art, etc. Even built a float(that was fun-our office all pitched in and built it in our garage).
