The craft I currently am working on is Decoupage. I am using Cigar boxes, tissue paper, and other things to create beautiful boxes. Anyone else have anything they are working on?
A staff and a pentacle...both are pretty materials intensive though.
The pentacle I'm thinking is an Ouroboros, though instead of a snake eating it's own tail it's a dragon. It's surrounding the five pointed star and is cast in a silver-nickel alloy. In the middle of the Pentagram would be a star sapphire and the dragons eyes would be small garnets. I'm unsure of what it would hang by.
As for the staff it'd be about 6' long by 2" diameter with iron caps on both ends. Just under the end caps would be iron wire that'd turn around it 108 times at both ends. The only other thing I can see of this for sure is that it'd be painted in black lacquer.

Sounds awesome I've been wanting to get into casting jewelry myself
Yeah it is my grandma gave me some silver (10 troy ounces) and some moonstones that my greatgrandmangot from her husband when he died. The only thing I have to pay for is the class and tools so I'm halfway there.
My mom had the prettiest fireopal necklace and earring set she lost one of the earrings and she looks for a matching opal everytime we are at a festival or gem show. We haven't found even one that looks similar apparently the cherry colored fireopals are extremely rare. She keeps saying she wants to do something with the odd earring I hope she does it's too gorgeous to sit in a box.

I am currently working on a set of hand cut pine runes for divination.
I've been drying flowers and herbs to make arrangements. I also use fresh flowers like lavender, rose petals ect. by chopping them and putting them in a glass container with lid then add olive oil, jojoba oil, almond oil or add vinager. Shake daily for a few weeks or more. The longer the more potent it will be. Then strain into a clean bottle. I use for adding to baths or body oil. Vinager softens the skin as well as tones and cleanses it. I love making my own beauty skin care products because I know whats in them and its so much fun.
