Sorry if any Buddhist writing or authors have been mentioned already. Before I knew I was Wiccan, I had turned away from the Lutheran church that I was raised in as a child and as a teen I began to read on my own. Unaware of Wicca at the time, I found Buddhism through books where I discovered that the main principal of it was, surprise! 'DO NO HARM'. It struck, and I read all I could of eastern spiritual belief, and I also believe it eventually led me to Wiccan. So if anyone would like to expand into an eastern concept of what it is to be truly human( that is of our basic tenant as well as Wiccan) I would suggest any books of the Buddhist faith, which happily are also easily found.
