Wiccan Rede

I want to question you all pagans and witches, does the Rede include animals too? Why not? We can harm animals? Even if to feed us? I think that animals have the right to live their lives till the end! Why we need to kill and make suffer the animals? Is it right, according to the Rede, to cause suffering to animals? Even if to feed us? I think we can feed all the world without killing animals. I want to know your opinion about this subject!

I feel that animals too have souls that want to unleash the amazement that all of us have but are forced otherwise . What we need to do is give our inner power to them . . not eat them . When you eat an animal you eat his/her aura . If your eating factory farmed animals then your absorbing they're horrible, scared aura . Not good for the animals . Not good for you . Not good for the Earth . Plus, if you were that animal would you want to be eaten ? "... An it harm none do what ye will" Josh .

i think that if it is to feed a living creature then it is ok, as long as we do not let the creature we eat go to waste and we make sure that its soul is not defiled. pagans for centuries have lived by these guidlines of eating the animal but respecting there sacrifice.
