Wicca Wiccans Pagans and Free Souls.. live different.. be Neopagan!
Trying to get my feet wet without drowning :)
Hi, I'm new to this site and am looking to learn as much as I can about Wicca and the Tarot specifically. I have dabbled here and there for the past five years, but my information is spotty at best and I would like to get a real education in this area. There is no one that I know of where I live that can teach me, and I would love to make some friends here that could spell things out for me (no pun intended lol) so that I don't judge based on false information and other people's beliefs.

The best place, in my opinion (of course I'm biased lol), is MagickaSchool.com - it offers a free Beginners' Tarot Course and a free year-and-a-day Wicca course - it also has a massive forum wherein you can ask elders of the Craft (and other paths) anything you like - or maybe even help others.

Merry Meet and welcome! There are online classes and groups through myspace and yahoo that bring the Classroom to you. The best advice is to read and read and study. Here is a review of different authors and books to read or avoid;

But really Wicca is a personal path. There is no wrong, just get the basic info. and you will find that you just will know what to do. Early in my practice I would sit down to write a ritual without my reference material, and when I was able to get to my Books, even though I had not read them entirely, I would be surprised to find that I had done exactly what I was supposed to! I used the right offering, colors,herbs, etc. It Feels right.

I've read that Wicca is very personal, and I think that's what really draws me to it, I'm still trying to figure out what will be right for me, and thanks for the encouragement :) It's very much appreciated!
