Signs

Heya. I was just wondering, if you have a patron goddess, what kind of signs did they give you or how did you find them. I feel incredibly drawn to Nyx at the moment. I kept hearing whispers just before falling asleep (kind whispers) and having Dianna as a goddess at the time, I found it strange that I kept accidently calling her night mother, without meaning to at all. I didn't feel as connected to Dianna as I feel connected with Nyx.

I was having a weird identity problem and struggling to find out who I was shortly before coming across Nyx. I was void of all emotion actually and quite depressed. 
My friend actually suggested that I look for some other Gods and Goddesses as well. That's how I came across her. I was drawn to her from the start, but when I read about her initially, I just immediately moved on because she didn't sound a thing at all like me. I was scared of the dark and didn't know how I'd find the courage to communicate with her. this time though, I decided to let her in. Last night actually was when this all started. After finally accepting her, I felt a huge wave of...I don't know...it was like a feeling of relaxation and love. All my stress disappeared and I actually nearly started crying (with happiness) and I was also giggling uncontrollably. The next day, I felt happy again and I got all my emotions back. It was so weird. I also feel asleep straight away when I went to bed which never happens to me.
I was just wondering, are these signs from Nyx that she is accepting me as one of her children or am I just having a mental breakdown?
