Unless I miss my mark, tomorrow is Eostre. So, what are you going to do to celebrate it? Me, still living with my parents, am going to go to passover with the christians and then hide Easter Eggs. Can't wait to be out of the house so I can celebrate my own holidays instead of this "Jesus Raised From The Dead Today 2000 Years ago.
Lol, oh and just a side note, he was supposedly born 2009 years ago, not raised. Techniqually, he was raised 1977, or 1976 years ago, debatable. Anyways that is neither here nor there, what are you all planning to do to celebrate Eostre?
Yeah, I'm writing a blog of an alter I plan to build, I think I will use it often, though I don't know where I will put it to keep it from getting torn down.
i have to work :( but i don't like holidays much anyway. my family is malfunctioning currently so its best to be apart. i hope everyone else gets to be with their loved ones!
yeah, me and my family don't get along, but we are forced together for the time being. Oh, and I thought today was saturday, not Friday, so two more days.
I'm late as usual. We celebrated the equinox with an observation of the rising and setting of the sun I also began noting which plants are budding out both for the US Phenology project(see my blog), and my own knowledge and pleasure. Over Easter weekend we made hot cross buns and color eggs. Easter Day the granddaughters came out for an egg hunt.Their parents go to Orthodox church so they have a different Easter anyway and everyone knows the eggs are a pagan custom and that's ok.For dinner, because I don't care for ham, I made a Middle Eastern dinner in honor of the wise man from Nazareth who wanted everyone to be as little children and live in peace.
