Looking for some advice and help
Ever since I was little I believed in magic. I still do....obviously. I feel a pull towards it, the moon and water.
I've learned over the last few years I have Empathy. I can feel people's emotions and physical pain. I can even take the pain away to a point. I've learned how to put up a barrier to block it so far because it was too much.
Also, I have, what I call, flash forwards. I see scenes or have knowledge of what is going to happen.
Lastly, I can see Spirits and, unfortunately, shadow people. Only one spirit so far. the Shadow people, since I was....well, as long as I can remember I have been seeing them. All I know is that I do not like them and fear them.
What I am looking for is advice on how to better control this. I'd like to be able to use my empathy without it hurting me and maybe do something about the shadow people. Being able to better understand the flashes would be cool too.
There's no one I know in my area who can help me, so I came on here.

I share your draw since childhood, I also share your fear of harming others. The last time I "helped" a close friend, I came close to death, and was wiped out for days!!! She had been forced into an abortion by an abusive boyfriend, and when I asked her if she wanted to set the spirit of the child free, or give it a chance at this life, she chose to have the child. I passed through to a sphere where no human should be, incarnate. His spirit passed through me and into her, and I retreated quickly. After his birth he always recognized me and he behaved like an angel, performing feats of spelling and math beyond his years. For his parents he acted like the spawn of evil, my friends even said he would surely become a serial killer. I attempted visitation so I could help, it was then that they cut me out of their lives. To control these things, one must fight the urge to do them with all their strength. I fear he is now an overmedicated zombie child, his parents never understood just how much he obtained from my over-bullied soul, which was 4 of my grade school years. I still have a lot of unresolvable pain, I know he picked that up along with the fantasies that accompany this torture. Those who witnessed the ritual (no drugs involved) said that for a moment I was the consistency of smoke (almost not there).
You are acutely attuned to this world. Call it Armageddon, or whatever you choose, but there is an evil coming that makes Satan look like a kindergarten plaything. Devil, or Satan, even Lucifer are not the beings most have been taught they are. In those times when I see "shadow beings" they hold no physical human form. They come through a very odd dimensional hallway(?), maybe doorway(?) but I think they are trapped. They show themselves, and I swear I would face any devil rather than these odd shapes!!! They scare me beyond belief!!! Maybe because I have studied Crowley's spiritual geometry/mathematics. The master of these things is a largish cube that should never fit down this hallway, in fact this is true of them all. In no way a cube like the Hellraiser movies, so my visions are not literature induced. Neither are yours, I believe we are seeing the same thing, but they are based on what frightens us most.
I could go on for pages trying to help you gain control, but for today, suffice it to say that you were born to be a Priestess. Until this awakes fully within you, obtain a very graphic Tarot Deck. Not one with cartoon type graphics. Though I can see them in my mind whenever I think of them, do the same and find a card to represent them. Lay this card aside to use a part of your spread to cover. Use whichever layout you know, or can learn easily. To cast against them pestering you, cover the card that represents them with the Hermit, and the Magi. You might also try the Star (or Aeon) depending on your deck in place of the Hermit. You may find the more you use a tool like the Tarot, the less you will jump ahead. Just be certain to keep a protected journal of your readings. I feel the God/dess want you to receive a message, or messages, and it can feel very troubling until you use the tools Magick has provided, to listen to them. I would suggest Crowley's Thoth deck as everything you need is included in the large deck. I am not sure about the smaller decks. Contact me and I will respond quickly!!!

Hi Elisabeth. I am some what like u. I feel ppls pain and see black figers. I like to think they r here to show us somrthing or they r stuck in the spirit woom. And cant excape. My elament is earth. My zodiac sign is water tho. Ok Back ro empathy. Do what feels right to u. I am a very emotionl person myself. We need ppl like us to take a little of the vord as hard as it is to deal with. U will be ok. Think of it as u have abig heart its a good thing to hsve.
