I personally do not think the Native Americans would curse the Earth Mother,. I am Native American and I would never direct anything negative towards the earth in no form or fashion. Although Native Americans may have similar believes as pagans I do not feel they could actually be considered as such. Perhaps some could Just the average Native American would not be a part of something like that however it would take a Shaman to do such and I as a follower of the shamanic path personally would not curse the earth.

Actually you may want to research the ghost dancers, they attempted to do a blessing and it was construed as a curse against white man and they were all killed I do believe. But it was to bless the earth and make the white man to fall away so the land its self would return to them, they did not feel the white man respected the earth.
blessed native sister I to share native blood, but I too, share an old anger, a blasphemy and numerous atrocities has been layed upon this land, and I feel someone, must have cried out in revenge like Geronimo and sitting bull.

To this very day the government will go on reservations and desecrate sacred lands, in the 50's, native children were taken boarding schools and beaten unmercifully if they spoke they're native languages in the 50's native people were tortured and killed horrifically check out first voices indigenous radio you will find that up til now, native people have gotten no rest from, the degradation, Am I angry, yes but, think there are ancestors that are angrier

Can I ask, what are *you* angry about? These things did not happen to you directly (in this lifetime). The people that did them are long since dead. The people these things where done to, are also long since dead. Is it time to release that old anger and let it go onto become something else, perhaps a more positive thing?

There are something that I too hold a grudge over, that are beyond my control and took place long before I was even born. I get mad over them too, but that anger doesn't help me, nor does it undo past injustices. We can learn from the past and ensure these types of events never reoccur in the future. Maybe that is why we are here, when we are, so we can overcome and come together.
